2. Hosting and technical delivery

This website is hosted through ChatGPT Sites by OpenAI. For users in the European Economic Area, the contracting entity is OpenAI Ireland Ltd., 1st Floor, The Liffey Trust Centre, 117–126 Sheriff Street Upper, Dublin 1, D01 YC43, Ireland.

Technically necessary connection data may be processed when the website is accessed, including IP address, time, requested URL, data volume, browser/device information and security or error data. This supports reliable delivery and protection against abuse on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. YouTube, social media and external product pages

Videos are initially shown as local preview images. A connection to YouTube or another external service is created only when you open its link. From that point, the respective provider processes data under its own privacy terms.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

teekay cinema currently uses no proprietary analytics, marketing or advertising cookies and integrates neither Google Analytics nor Meta Pixel. Technically necessary session storage may be used for community sign-in and security. The appearance preference is stored locally in your browser and is not used for tracking.

5. Contact

If you contact Tobi by email, the information you provide is processed to answer and manage your enquiry. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive data.

6. Community

You may sign in with a one-time email link or ChatGPT. Email sign-in links are valid for 15 minutes and can be used only once. The key is stored only as a cryptographic hash. A technically necessary session cookie may remain valid for up to 30 days or until sign-out/account deletion.

Depending on how you use the service, profile name, username, short biography, favourite topic, topics, replies, uploaded images, subscriptions, private conversations, blocks, notifications, reports and technical timestamps are processed to provide and protect the community under Articles 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Members may voluntarily add up to four home cinema images to their profile. These profile images are available only to signed-in members in the protected profile view. Images attached to public topics and replies are publicly accessible with that contribution. Images in private messages are served only to the two signed-in conversation participants. Before upload, the browser creates an optimised new image file, which removes embedded camera and location metadata. Visible details such as faces, number plates, addresses or documents are not automatically obscured and must be checked by the member before upload.

Private messages are visible in the normal community interface only to the two participants, but are not end-to-end encrypted. If a specific private message is reported, that selected message and an optional note are made available to moderation — not automatically the complete conversation.

Town and broad region are shown in the protected member directory only to signed-in community members and only after you actively enable location sharing. Street, house number, postcode, coordinates, email and private contact details are not part of the directory. You can withdraw this permission in your profile.

In-app notifications are available for followed topics and private messages. Email and browser/mobile push remain off until activated separately. Resend is used to deliver one-time sign-in and optional notification emails. Push messages are delivered through the push service of the relevant browser or operating-system provider.

You may delete your account from your profile. Personal profile data, private conversations, uploaded images, location sharing, active sessions and notification channels are removed; published text contributions may remain anonymised as “Former member” to preserve discussion context. The community is intended for people aged 16 and over.

7. Affiliate links

Commission-eligible links are marked directly as affiliate links. Opening one may transfer a partner identifier to the destination provider. If you purchase there, teekay cinema may receive a commission while your price remains unchanged. No affiliate tracking is initiated by teekay cinema without opening the external link.

8. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Consent can be withdrawn for the future at any time. Contact teekay.cinema@gmail.com. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority.
